2020
COVID-19 Can’t Cancel Pride – A Response to the Global Pandemic
Can’t Cancel Pride was created in June 2020 as a response to the COVID pandemic in an effort to support the LGBTQ+ community. During this time, PRIDE celebrations were canceled around the world leading to a loss of visibility for the community and decrease in fundraising activity for key LGBTQ+ organizations. P&G and iHeartRadio partnered to create an hour-long benefit streaming show to support 6 LGBTQ+ organizations, featuring remote performances and messages from across the music community.
2021
Bigger, Better, Bolder, and Prouder
Our 2nd Can’t Cancel Pride show came back bigger, better, bolder, and prouder to continue raising visibility for the LGBQT+ community and much needed funds for 6 LGBTQ+ organizations. With even more life-saving impact messages, star-studded performances and personal messages, Can’t Cancel Pride delivered an empowering, celebratory event for the LGBTQ+ community.

Proud and Together
Can’t Cancel Pride goes LIVE! For the first time, we moved from a virtual show to celebrating Can’t Cancel Pride together as a community, sharing intersectional messages of spirit and strength with LIVE performances from the iHeartRadio Theater in LA.
2023
The Future Starts Now
Our 4th Can’t Cancel Pride show spoke to the achievements of the past, the urgency of the present, and the hope for the future of the LGBTQ+ community with electric, star-studded performances powered by PRIDE.
2024
Can’t Cancel Pride returns for its fifth consecutive year to celebrate the profound impact of music, a unifying force that can drive society toward more equality and acceptance for all. The special event will feature performances from some today’s hottest artists and appearances from influential voices in the LGBTQ+ community to continue providing much needed visibility and funding for key LGBTQ+ organizations.

Can’t Cancel Pride raises much needed funds for six orginizations providing lifesaving and life-affirming resources and services for the LGBTQ+ community.
We are extremely grateful for Can't Cancel Pride's support of local LGBTQ+ communities which allows LGBTQ+ centers across the country to sustain and expand their vital programming and life-saving services.
Can’t Cancel Pride’s dedication to inclusion and diversity, along with the willingness to stand alongside us in championing LGBTQ+ rights, inspires us and motivate us to work even harder toward our shared goals.

Can’t Cancel Pride creates a space for us to give voice to the voiceless. It provides resources that have helped Outright offer life-saving support for people during this difficult time.
Can’t Cancel Pride’s generous annual funding helps ensure that SAGE is able to pursue key organizational priorities, among them encouraging LGBTQ+ and age-friendly communities via advocacy and training, creating ties across LGBTQ+ generations via intergenerational programming, and helping LGBTQ+ older adults address their vulnerabilities via direct services.

The Elton John Impact Award is an award presented annually as part of Can’t Cancel Pride. The award, named after the legendary artist Elton John, is presented to LGBTQ+ individuals who have had a sustained and substantive impact on LGTBQ+ culture and the pursuit of a more equal and inclusive world.
As an artist, performer and humanitarian, Elton John has fearlessly advocated for the LGBTQ+ community—shattering norms, redefining possibility, and lifting up younger generations of people to chart their own path as their unapologetic and magical selves.
Established in 2022, The Elton John Impact Award, recognizes those that, like Elton, have improved the world, inspired others and been a champion for LGBTQ+ everywhere.

We wanted to bring Pride to people in their homes, give them a message of hope, help them feel connected to the world outside, and at the same time, use our power and privilege as companies to help raise money for organizations that were hurting. What began as an effort to provide relief for the community’s most vulnerable amid the COVID-19 pandemic remains just as important today. Can’t Cancel Pride is both a force for good and a force for growth.
